But how did he reach that conclusion?
Are we going to be doing SNA on sites like Twitter and Facebook I wonder... If so, I'm stoked!

If you can get your hands on FB data, yes. As for Twitter, I have yet to see a really interesting analysis of Twitter data. If you find one, post it. The main reason is that Twitter is, in essence, a one-way comms. network. And just because someone re-tweets you, does that mean you're important? I'm willing to be convinced...
