About a month ago I stumbled upon the website linked in the title. I found myself thoroughly impressed with what this group is striving to achieve: the production of a free and open game with an organization held together by this forum.
I personally would like to see more networks like this. Development of a product with frequent input from those who will be using it in the end (at least when this is possible for things such as games).
