There have been many cases where Social networking sites help the police in their investigation. There are times though when an investigation can go totally wrong due to the influence of social networking. This is one such case. Is this a lesson for the police force - "Take it with a pinch of salt" or is it a plea to the public to control their urge to discuss everything online.
