Communication problem in the consulting office

We just found that IT guys in the US office do not communicate much (what I mean by "much" is that have more than 4 lines) with other consultants. In addtion, people who are working in government sector in the US office also do not have any presence in the communication network. We think this can be problematic to the organization because health and pharmaceuticals sectors need information about technological change and government regulation so they need to co-work and communicate with each other.

(Green color is government sector and red is IT sector but there is no green and color in the picture, left side is European office and right side is the US office)

Also we have found that women in both offices do not play a central role in communication. It is even worse in European office because if we take out women in European office it makes little effect in overal communication.

As Prof. metioned, I think it is serious problem for heathcare setor does not have much communication with IT sector. For example, telemedicine and its possible impact on the health care industry is a big issue nowdays. I found this web site. http://www.americantelemed.org/i4a/pages/index.cfm?pageid=1
